Wearing a different hat as The Chubby Fashionista, I got to see the Fashion in the Heart photo shoot from behind the scenes. Local fashion has never been better!

Katie invited me (Mel) to come along to the Fashion in the Heart shoot last week, wearing a different hat, my blogger hat: The Chubby Fashionista.

I have a fashion blog where I express my opinion on all things fashion as well as do photo shoots around the local area (Lismore has the best backdrops for photo shoots!)

For this shoot, unlike the others, I got to take more of a backseat and watch things happen from a different perspective. Katie pulled it together in under a week and wore many different hats: stylist, project manager, high-heel sticky taper, director, photo selector and even content writer. She did such an amazing job.

Lismore, with the Come to the Heart brand, is positioned as an inviting city with diverse and unique offerings not found elsewhere in the Northern Rivers. There’s something for everyone: whether you want a vintage designer item, a hidden treasure, original design, the perfect cocktail dress, a pair of gorgeous heels or something more classic – it’s all here.

Thanks so much to the retailers who were involved: George Gooley Menswear, Man to Man, Little Polli and the Blackbird, Shoo La La, Boutique 2000, Tahiti Hut, Bondfields, Birdcage, Etika, The Black Angel, 925 Silver, Hortons, Sarasa, Lismore Shoes, Jean House and Sobi.

Thanks to the businesses who contributed their time to hair, makeup and locations: Winks, The Boys, Gloss Hair Artistry, Glam Doll Beauty, PomStar, Hair Embassy, Chrysalis, Professional Makeup by Lisa Williams, Annabella’s Beauty, Glamour Hair Design, Shartan Hair Studio, Candi Hellyar and The Republic of Coffee Espresso Bar.

You can check out the behind the scenes photos in the three blogs :
